2What kind of country the Philippine is? Is there an inconvenient or dangerous place?
The Philippines is the third largest English-speaking nation – after the US and the UK, as according to the Department of Tourism. You can also do extra activities such as attending the “casual discussion” class, watching movies on Mondays and Wednesdays, dancing classes … among others. You will not get bored.
9Can you tailor the curriculum according to my needs?
Yes, but you must communicate with the 1 to 1 teachers. Also please state your learning objectives when doing the application.
10If I want to change courses or days when I am in Philippine, can I do so?
In CIEC, students have the chance to change courses and so on.

Yes. Every last Friday of the month there is a volunteering activity. Also students and teachers will plan for weekend trips almost every week.
15Will it be safe when I staying in dorm?

No, the school provides for everything.

Most students here face the same problem. And it is for this reason that you have to communicate in English and then you can improve your English. However, there is a Chinese/Japanese/Korean manager in the school to help with some specific countries’ inquiries.

Not really high, it costs roughly P5000/month. But it depends on your personal spending behavior.

Yes

28Where can I get daily supplies? Do I need to bring all of them from my own country?

29Is the public transportation system convenient in Philippine?
Jeepney and Taxi are available at all time.
30What kind of public transports that I can use? How much per time? Can you offer me the map?
Jeepney P8 pesos per trip. Taxi cab from P40 pesos plugdown. Just tell the taxi driver the landmark building.
31If there’s no one to pick me up at the airport, what should I do?
Normally it will not happen. If it does, just take taxi to “Minoza Street, Barangay Tigbao, Talamban Cebu City, Philippines”. The school will refund the travel expense.
32Are there lots of self supporting facilities near the school?
Yes, there are supermarkets, McDonald’s, major shopping malls nearby.
33Does school offer shuttles for students? Where can I go by shuttles? How far away from the school?
Yes. Going to destinations based on itinerary.
34Do you have a dress code?
Casual
35What time will restaurant and stores close?
10pm. Except for the 24 hour restaurants such as McDonald’s.
36Is it dangerous at night time?
Hard to say. But there’s a curfew for the school to avoid any dangerous event from occurring. The curfew time is 11pm from Monday to Friday. No curfew on Saturday and Sunday.

39What should I do if I get sick or be injured in Philippine? Can I apply for allowance?
The school has clinic and nurses. In the serious situation, the school will help to send the students to the hospitals, but no subsidies. So we strongly recommend all students to the insured.
40If I am stolen by pickpockets, what should I do?
First take care of your safety. Then look for the police station to help but the chance of getting back your wallet is slim. Just be extra vigilant all the time.
41If there is any accident or disaster happened, who can I seek for help?
School. The school will then contact the relevant parties.
42What should I do if I already don’t have enough money when I am in Philippine?
There is ATM and money changers everywhere.
43Can I withdraw money from a Taiwanese bank account in Philippine?
Yes. Just make sure you can withdraw money from overseas.
44What should I do if I lose my passport or visa?
