CIEC Policies for Refunds

  • 1. Before Departure

    1. A. If a student cancels his/her enrollment with more than 4-week cancellation notice from the scheduled departure date, all charges except the registration fee will be refunded.
    2. B. If a student cancels his/her enrollment with less than 4-week cancellation notice from the scheduled departure date, all charges except the registration fee and 2-week tuition and boarding fees will be refunded.

    2. After Departure

    1. A. If a student cancels his/her enrollment immediately upon arrival, all charges except 4-week tuition and boarding fees will be refunded.
    2. B. If a student cancels his/her enrollment after starting the course, the refund amount will be calculated on a 4-week basis and 50% of it will be refunded.
    3. C. In case of the period of training has passed more than 50%, he/she will not receive any refund.
    4. D. All refunds will be settled within a month (30days) through the place of registration.
    5. E. In case of the difference cause by the change of the room type in the dormitory, only 50% of the difference will be calculated on a 4-week basis and will be refunded.
    6. F. If a student discontinues his/her study because of his/her bereavement, matrimony and sick leave as well as his/her lineal family members’, 60% of the remaining amount will be refunded regardless of the remaining studying period, provided that he/she must submit documented evidence such as an obituary notice, wedding invitation, resident registration and medical certificate etc.
